Our Guest House is situated between Rothbury and Alnwick, in a very beautiful scenic valley, between the Cheviots and the Simonside Hills. This is a setting of peace and tranquility but is with easy driving distance of the popular visitor sites, with many more places to be discovered during a visit.
Little known now, but has quite a history, with archaeological sites being recently discovered. The house has also an association with the Lord Armstrong of Cragside.
We enjoy running our Bed and Breakfast, and you are assured of a warm welcome. Our rooms are spacious, en-suite, with a bath as well as showering facilities, colour co-ordinated and with comfortable beds to ensure a good nights rest.
A mini fridge for cold drinks and fresh milk, hot drinks, hairdryer, trouser press, bathrobe, quality soft fluffy towels and personal toiletries are all available in each room.
We serve a hearty and varied breakfast, and evening meals with a good choice on the menu. The food is sourced for quality and freshness, most found locally and our dining room decor lends itself to enjoying a relaxing, leisurely meal.

From the A1, take the A697 to the B6344 for Rothbury. Proceed through Rothbury until reaching the Village sign of Thropton. Just after this sign, take the right hand turn at the Cross Keys Pub. Proceed to the next T Junction, turning left to Netherton. Remain on this road until reaching the house.
