Our centrally located, 4 star guest house offers incredibly comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation at very reasonable prices. Our double twin and family rooms are all en-suite (except 1 which has a private bathroom). All rooms also have double glazing and central heating to ensure your stay is as warm as your welcome.
We are situated just 1 mile south of the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyrood House, on the main A701 into the city centre. We are happy to advise you on the nicest places to eat near to the guest house (of which there are many) and also closer to the city centre. We can also help you plan your days, either visiting parts of the city or doing wee trips to Queensferry, Stirling or Roslyn Chapel.
We are only 5 minutes' walk from the nearest golf course with another 20 or so within 20 minutes of the Sherwood. We only have parking for 3 cars but there is free on-street parking within 250yds.
Our bus service in Edinburgh is superb, which is handy as parking is limited in city centre. We are only 25yds from the nearest bus stop from where all Edinburgh's most famous places of interest are only a few minutes ride away (except at rush hour).
