Pant-Teg Country House is a rural retreat set high up on the lower Cambrian slopes between Lampeter and Tregaron.
We like to offer our guests a warm and friendly haven away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, nestling within 4 acres of nature loving gardens, with far reaching views across the Teifi valley and hills.
Pant-Teg Country House has developed over the years from farmhouse to Welsh long house, with one half devoted to the comfort and privacy of our guests, accommodating up to 4 adults (unsuitable for children under 12) in 2 spacious en-suite bedrooms with a large guest lounge.
The Red Room is on the upper floor and has a kingsize bed.
With en suite bath, shower, toilet and hand basin.
The Gold Room is on the lower floor and has a choice of twin or kingsize bed (zip linked).
With an en-suite walk-in shower, toilet and hand basin.
Both bedrooms have dressing tables, a comfortable seating area, TV, radio alarm clock, hairdryer, beverage tray, complimentary fresh fruit and chocolates, tourist information leaflets and maps.
The guest lounge is on the first floor, thereby taking advantage of the magnificent valley views. There are 2 large comfy sofas and a log burner for those colder days, TV, DVD, CD, Clavinova piano, guitar, a selection of board games and a varied selection of books.
Traditional hearty Welsh breakfasts are served in the dining room, which over looks the garden and where you will see numerous varieties of birds at the feeders. Everything is prepared from locally sourced and often organic produce, our own fresh eggs and homemade bread.

Disabled Facilities: There are no disabled facilities.
Pet Facilities: Pets are not allowed. I am afraid we do not take dogs in the house, but we do have a self catering Cottage in the grounds where they are most welcome.
Special Diets Provision: Special diets are catered for. Vegetarian or other dietary requirements then we are happy to discuss
Smoking Facilities: Smoking is not allowed. We respectfully ask guests to smoke in the grounds only, as we have a no smoking policy in the house.
Directions
Pant-Teg is situated off the B4343 on a horseshoe road
approximately half way between Llanfair Clydogau and Llanddewi Brefi.
On the B4343 at Llanfair Clydogau, take the turning by the village road sign with a bungalow set up high on the corner.
Continue upwards on this road for 2 and ½ miles, taking a left fork each time at the 2 junctions.
We can also be reached by taking the mountain road from LLanddewi Brefi.
