The Ferns is a beautiful stone-built Victorian House of great character and charm, surrounded by dense woodland and magnificent mountain country. Originally built in 1884 as self-catering apartments it has now been transformed over the years into a beautiful, country style Guest House. The house is situated in an enviable position at the quieter edge of Betws-y-Coed in the heart of the breathtaking Snowdonia National Park.
The Ferns is owned and run by Sarah and Mark Jones, who offer a high standard of service and accommodation. Their personal attention to detail will ensure that your stay is a pleasant and memorable one.
The Ferns has 9 letting bedrooms all with en-suite shower rooms. All rooms are comfortably furnished and equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, colour television, hairdryer, alarm clock and hot water bottle. With a choice of single, twin, double and family rooms, we are able to accommodate individuals, couples, families or large parties. We also cater for Walkers and Cyclists, providing some bike storage and drying facilities.
For our Guests use we have a beautifully appointed and spacious Lounge, with comfortable seating, colour TV, games and reading literature.
Breakfast is served in a large Dining Room with individual tables, where you can relax whilst enjoying a hearty breakfast. Varied menus between 8.00am and 8.45am. Special Dietary requirements catered for with prior notice. We can also provide packed lunches and complimentary flask filling.
The entire house enjoys the benefit of a modern and efficient central heating system. Strictly No Smoking throughout.
