Low Hall is a Victorian farmhouse owned by Holker Hall Estates but run by Peter and Tracey Edmondson. It is a 400 acre working beef and sheep farm set in peaceful countryside, offering spectacular views of the Duddon Estuary and the South Lakeland fells.
The farmhouse itself is nestled into the hillside next to a mature wood.
Low Hall is a spacious farmhouse where a high standard of comfort and a warm welcome are guaranteed. There is central heating throughout the farmhouse. The guest's own lounge has a wood burning stove as does the dining room, and both enjoy beautiful views. There are three extremely spacious en suite guest rooms; two double rooms and one twin room. All rooms have colour TV, radio, hospitality trays and toiletries. Hairdryers and ironing facilities are available. There is ample private parking.
With such a lovely rural setting we offer peace and tranquility and yet we are still conveniently situated for visiting the many attractions that Lakeland has to offer. But why travel further when the immediate area offers a wide variety of public footpaths? Several footpaths run through the farm. A short walk will take you onto Kirkby Moor with spectacular views. Grizedale Forest Visitor Centre is only 20 minutes away offering a variety of walks and bike rides.
