Bindon cottage offers en-suite accommodation in a lovely country setting, but only 5 miles from Taunton.
A pub is situated in the village which does a selection of fine meals. Hillfarrance is only 10 minutes from junction 25 on the M5 motorway, so is in the perfect place for exploring the local area.
Exmoor, the Quantock and Blackdown hills are on the doorstep, with their many fine walks and scenery. The north coast at Minehead and the south coastal towns of Lyme Regis and Sidmouth offer some lovely day trips.
The West Somerset Railway is 10 minutes away, with its steam railway stretching to Minehead. Oak Manor golf course is less than a mile away and offers lunch and evening meals.
Taunton boasts its own Theatre and hosts many touring productions. The Taunton Flower Show is held in its park in the summer.
There is a fine racecourse with several meetings a year. Its sporting facilities include, Wellsprings Sporta Centre, Blackbrook Pavilion which includes the Taunton Tennis Centre and Taunton Swimming Pool.
