Claire and Jon welcome you to Acreland Green B and B, which is located between the pretty villages of Pleshey and High Easter.
We have two comfortably furnished en-suite bedrooms, which can be let as singles, twin or doubles; both rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and are also equipped with TV, DVD, hairdryer and radio alarm clocks.
Our sumptuous beds will help you get a great nights sleep and come morning you can start the day, by choosing from our extensive breakfast menu; whether you fancy a light breakfast, or a hearty 'big boys' cooked breakfast, we can cater for your taste.
In Spring and Summer, feel free to stroll around our extensive gardens, or why not relax and take in the fresh country air, whilst enjoying tea on the lawn? Maybe you will catch sight of the wild deer that often pass by.
For those folk that have been invited to weddings or functions at the nearby Maidens Barn or Reid Rooms, we can often help with transport to the venue.
Feel free to come and go as you please and if you need to check in early, to freshen up and change before going to the event, we can usually accommodate your requirements.
Claire also offers a personal floristry service, so while staying with us, if you wish to take something special to friends or family you plan to visit; just let us know your requirements in advance and Claire will get to work on making you a beautiful bouquet or arrangement, with the flowers of your choice.
For walkers planning to tackle the 'Essex Way' long distance footpath, Acreland Green makes a perfect overnight stopping point; access to the Essex Way, is just 300 metres away.
If you need a lift to the local pub in the evening, for that well-earned pint and evening meal, we will try to help.
For those walkers staying more than one night, we also offer a drop off or pick up service, to help with your schedule; we'll even dry your soggy clothes if the weather hasn't been too kind!
Apart from the Essex Way, there are numerous footpaths and bridleways just waiting to be explored; the by-ways in this area, are great for 'off road' cycling and we are happy to provide local knowledge, to help you plan your day of activity.
