The Garden Room is a lovely spacious, self contained, en-suite, accommodation in the garden of Sawmill Cottage.
Set in the charming village of Broughton Gifford, on the Southern edge of the Cotswolds and twelve miles from the historic City of Bath.
Bowood House, Lacock Village and Great Chalfield Manor both owned by the National Trust and Longleat are all within easy reach.
There are two excellent pubs, both within a couple of minutes walk, which serve delicious food.
The Garden Room is furnished to a very high standard:
It has a large double bed and two single beds, so there is plenty of room for a family and even a couple of dogs.
Own kitchenette with a fridge and a compact cooker, with 2 electric hobs; allowing you to be completely independent.
Breakfast is self-service, allowing you the freedom to get up and eat when you wish; we provide in the room: tea and coffee, fruit, cereals, juice, preserves, bread, croissants, locally sourced ingredients for a cooked breakfast, including our own free range eggs; all can be left in the room by arrangement in advance.
Children of all ages and pets are very welcome; cots, highchairs, toys and babysitting can be arranged on request.
We do have a no smoking policy.
We will do everything we can to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Directions by Car:
From London on the M4.
Come off at Junction 17 and take the first exit off the roundabout A350 to Warminster / Trowbridge.
Stay on the A350 and you'll go round the edge of Chippenham, past the National trust village of Lacock, through Beanacre and into Melksham, approx eight miles from the motorway.
You will come to a roundabout with the Country Wide store on your right. Take the 3rd exit signposted Bradford-on-Avon and Broughton Gifford.
In approximately ½ mile take the right hand fork signposted Broughton Gifford.
After approximately one mile, you will pass the village sign. Turn left at the war memorial (on your left) signed Industrial Estate. If you go past the Bell on the Common you've gone too far.
Sawmill Cottage (No.126) is on your left, set back from the road, with a red post box in the wall. If you get to The Fox you've gone too far.
From Bristol on the M4:
Come off at Junction 18, take the right exit off the roundabout signposted Bath A46.
After approx.ten miles, the road becomes dual carriage way, so get into the right hand lane and follow signs to A4 Chippenham/Box. You'll go under a bridge and the road then turns into the A4.
At the end of the dual carriage way is a roundabout, go straight across still following A4 signs for Chippenham and Box. Continue along the A4 into Box.
When you get into Box, there is a right hand filter lane with a turning signposted Melksham A365, fork right here.
After you leave Box, you'll then come to a cross roads with traffic lights, go straight across signposted Melksham and Atworth.
As you enter Atworth there is a BP garage on your right. Turn right signed Broughton Gifford.
Go through the village of Atworth and approx 1 mile you will get to a crossroads. Stonar School is on your right but you turn left signed Broughton Gifford.
Come through the village, the common will be on your left as you pass the Bell on the Common pub on your left and fork right.
Sawmill Cottage (No.126) is on your left, set back from the road, with a red post box in the wall. If you get to The Fox you've gone too far. Nearest Railway station is Bradford on Avon

£55.00 a night based on two people sharing.
£35.00 a night single occupancy.
