Ivy House is an 18th century grade two listed thatched house within the village of Warboys. It has been lovingly restored by its present owners who have lived in the house for many years.
The rooms are cosy with period features decorated to the highest standard. We offer a double room on the ground floor. This delightful room has a low, heavily beamed ceiling and en suite bathroom. Upstairs we have a cosy double room with antique brass bedstead and vanity basin. It shares a bathroom with our single [or twin] room. This delightful bedroom has a charm all of its own with exposed beams and its own vanity basin.
We aim to offer a relaxing home from home and to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We serve a traditional hearty English breakfast, or continental alternative. We also offer an evening meal by prior arrangement using locally produced and organic produce where possible. Your meals are served in the dining room, which also has low ceilings, open fireplace, and comfy chairs. It's a good place to relax for afternoon tea or to enjoy a hearty homecooked meal.
In the summer you may choose to take advantage of the warmer weather and dine alfresco in our beautiful cottage garden surrounded by mature trees.
