Heather Cottage stands in a quiet lane in which ponies wander and from which you can walk directly onto the National Park. You will receive a warm welcome in winter, with tea by the log fire and in fine weather in the garden or conservatory.
All beds are extra long, kingsize in the en-suite doubles.
A good dinner is served in The Hare and Hounds 7 minutes walk away, or you can drive 10 minutes to the New Forest village of Brockenhurst, or the Georgian sailing/market town of Lymington on the Solent.
Riding, fishing, cycling, golf are available close by and beaches and the open sea are only 15 minutes by car.
There are excellent restaurants in Sway and further afield.
