Ely is a great starting point from which to visit Cambridge and its colleges (and go punting on the cam!), Newmarket - the historic home of horseracing, Bury St. Edmunds, Kings Lynn and Norwich.
Only 66 minutes from London's Kings Cross Railway Station which now has Eurostar service adjacent at St. Pancras and just 40 minutes from Stansted Airport.
For guests there are three suites, each one has its own luxury bathroom with heated towel rail and cast iron bath with mixer taps.
Each suite is decorated individually with period furnishings and has a T.V, radio, hair-dryer etc.
Breakfast is cooked to order, and served around a farmhouse table with fellow guests.

THE APPROACH:
Ely's main railway station is five minutes by car and between 10 and 15 minutes on foot.
There is a taxi rank outside. There is a bus stop opposite the front of our property and another on our side of the road, 75metres away by Cromwell House (Tourist Information Centre.)
Landmarks to look for when coming by car.
From the A10 are Cromwell House on the right which is a black and white timber framed building with a green in front, then shortly on the left a florist shop.
Cathedral house is immediately after Waddington Terrace which is on the right and opposite the flower shop.
NB If using sat Nav ignore instructions to turn off St, Mary's street into Green Lane.
If walking from the station you pass the west front of the cathedral and continue towards a junction with traffic lights, lamb Hotel is on the right hand corner and Lloyds Dank diagonally opposite on the left.
Turn left and cathedral house is approximately 50m along this side of the street. No17
