We are a well appointed 4 star guest house in an ideal position for exploring the sights, culture and wildlife in the North of the Isle of Skye.
Roskhill House, is a rare example of a large stone built croft house, which was built around 1890 in the traditional island style.
It enjoys a peaceful country setting 100 metres away from the main road and has ample off street parking.
The front garden affords views of Loch Bracadale and Idrigill Point.
All bedrooms have king sized beds and have been renovated to a high standard with bespoke furniture, a fridge and an iPod dock, to provide very comfortable accommodation, whilst keeping the traditional building design and features.
The guest lounge, which was originally the village post office, has exposed stone walls and beams.
Dunvegan Castle, with its attractive gardens and optional boat trips out to the seal colony, is approximately 5 minutes drive away.
Neist Point lighthouse is the most Westerly point on Skye and on a clear day affords stunning views to the Outer Isles, as well as the chance to see dolphins and Minke whale.
The Waternish peninsula boasts the oldest pub on Skye in the village of Stein, from where occasional spectacular sunsets may be observed.
This area also has many galleries and local craft shops. Both Neist Point and the Waternish peninsula are 20 minutes drive away. There are both long and short walks to suit all abilities within easy reach.
The world famous Three Chimneys Restaurant is close by, for the discerning connoisseur as well as a number of other well reviewed restaurants.

Directions
From Fort William
Stay on the A82 for 25 miles and at Invergarry turn left onto the A87 to Kyle of Lochalsh and go over the bridge (toll free)
Once over the bridge head towards Broadford. Go through Broadford along the A87. After 16 miles take the left hand turn onto the A863 signposted Dunvegan by the Slichagan Hotel. We are 20 miles exactly from this junction on the right hand side behind a copse of trees. There is a blue and yellow sign for Roskhill House. We are the second house on the left hand side.
From Dunvegan
Roskhill House is situated 3 miles south of Dunvegan on the A863. Approaching from Dunvegan you will pass a red telephone box on your right with a small church immediately on your left. The road then rounds a sharp left hand bend and you will see Roskhill House signposted off to the left, on what was the old village road. We are the second house along the road on the left hand side.
