Cyclists and walkers can enjoy the nearby Tarka Trail and South West Coastal Path and golfers, The Royal North Devon Golf Course (oldest Club in the country) which Lydshaw overlooks.
In fact the area offers attractions that will appeal to all tastes and ages and Lydshaw is the perfect base for exploring North Devon and all it has to offer.
We are situated in a quiet lane with stunning panoramic seaviews overlooking Bideford Bay.
Lydshaw offers you a double or twin room with private bathroom and seaview.
Rooms are well-equipped with a T.V / Freeview; hospitality tray; hairdryer; complimentary toiletries; fresh linen & towels and a fridge (double room).
There is a large conservatory soley for guests use, equipped with T.V/Freeview/DVD/CD; games and dining facilities.
Guests are welcome to bring back takeaways and beverages.
Just outside is a patio area with garden furniture and a large beautiful garden, all overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Lundy Island and the surrounding towns, villages and landscape that adorns this coast of North Devon.
There is ample off road private parking along with dry and secure storage for leisure equipment.
The cooked breakfast consists of locally sourced produce along with cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, toasts and preserves. Teas, coffee and fruit juice. Times are flexible.
Lydshaw is a non-smoking establishment except for the designated area in the garden.
Children are welcome and we can provide a cot and high chair.
Unfortunately we can not accommodate pets.

Exit the M5 at junction 27 signposted Tiverton & Barnstaple
Then at the roundabout exit on to the A361 to Barnstaple
Barnstaple roundabout turn left onto the A39 - Atlantic Highway to Bideford (10 miles)
On reaching Bideford cross the Torridge Bridge
Turn right at the big roundabout, A361 signed Westward Ho! and Northam
Pass the Durrant Hotel & pass the turning to Appledore on your right
Take the 2nd left turn (just past the memorial statue) into Bay View Road
Take the 2nd right turn into Lundy View
Take the next left turn into Century Drive
After approx 20 metres turn right down a private lane
