From the South (Glasgow, Oban or Stirling): Take to A82 from Crianlarich, or the A828 from Oban. At Ballachulish go north on the A82 towards Fort William. Just beyond Onich, take the Corran Ferry to Ardgour, turning left as you leave the ferry on to the A861. Follow this road all the way to Acharacle. Pass the village shop (on your left) and Burnside is clearly signposted on the right as the road bends left. From the North (Inverness, Fort William or Skye) Take the A830 from Fort William or Mallaig and go to Lochailort. Turn (left from Fort William, right from Mallaig) on to the A861 and follow this road to Acharacle. Pass a turning on the right (McNaughton Crescent) - Burnside is clearly signposted on the left on a right-hand bend. If you get as far as the village shop. you've gone too far.
