Our Guesthouse is a Victorian property, which has been lovingly restored and decorated, but has managed to keep all it's origianl features.
These include a decorative mosaic black and white path, hence our name; an ornate stained glass door to the entrance, decorative cornicings and original fire places in the bedrooms.
We have a huge four poster room, which boasts a large beautiful tiled marble fire place.
All our rooms are en-suite with excellent powerful showers; all have tea/coffee facilities, T.V's, hairdryers, radio alarms and mini fridge; ironing facilities are also provided.
You will be provided with an excellent breakfast, to keep you going through the day, while you explore all that Whitby has to offer; such as olde world shops, clean beaches , museums, the famous Abbey and in the evening a range of resturants to suit all tastes, be it Thai, Indian, Chinese, or one of the many excellent fish resurants.
We are placed on the West Cliff, central to all the main facilities, five minutes walk to the beach and shops and on street parking when available.
You are assured of a warm and comfortable stay.
We are in the process of applying for tourist board ratings.
