Townend Farm is a large farmhouse decorated and furnished to a very high standard, constructed from local sandstone in the 1800s set in its own grounds with our own original well and has stunning countryside views.
Nestled in the heart of the small village of Easington in the North York National Park Townend Farm is aproximatley 2 miles from staithes and 13 miles from Whitby on the A174 Coast Road.
We are also ideally situated for anyone walking the Cleveland Way.
We offer a high standard of accommodation and have 3 comfortable and spacious rooms available. 1 twin bedded room, 1 double room and 1 large family room that sleeps up to four people.
All of our rooms have superb en-suite shower facilities towels and toiletries are provided.
Some of the other features in our rooms include bathrobes, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities, wireless internet access and a modern LCD television with DVD, CD & PC capabilities so do remember to pack those favourite DVD's/CD's.
Breakfast each morning is served in our dining room which has a real fire which is lit on colder mornings.
Breakfast consists of cereal, toast with a selection of preserves, fruit, yoghurt and a choice of three fruit juices followed by our Full English breakfast which are served with our own fresh hens eggs and locally sourced sausages, bacon and black pudding.
We also offer a continental breakfast.
Please Note ** There is No Smoking permitted within the house.
However should you need, please feel free to make use of the grounds where seating is provided.
Enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside from the seating on our decked area at the rear of the house or have a stroll down to the duck pond and watch the ducks and geese playing on the water.
We offer ample private parking also secure storage for motorbikes or cycles is available.
This is a fantastic area to visit with the delights of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors and Heritage Coastline easily accessible.
