The Swan Lodge is set in Abbotsbury, Dorset, a village steeped in history, yet a village where the present is still very much alive.
The village is famous for its 600 year old Swannery with its colony of friendly mute swans, as well as the sub-tropical gardens with rare and exotic plants from all over the world. Abbotsbury is also located near to Chesil Beach, the beautiful Jurrassic Coast. The village is a popular location for walkers who take advantage of the beautiful scenery.
The Swan Lodge is a family run bed and breakfast offering 5 bedrooms of which 4 are en-suite (2 double, 2 twin) and one with a private bathroom (double). All rooms have colour television and tea and coffee making facilities. Towels are provided and iron and ironing board are available to guests upon request.
All rooms are available for Single occupancy. Rates include cereal and toast along with a full English breakfast.
The Swan Lodge is located at the East end of Abbotsbury on the B3157. The local bus service (X53) has a stop outside for easy access to travellers without car, whilst for those with their own transport there is ample parking available.
Lunch and evening meals are available at the Swan Inn opposite daily.
