Mark and Jo extend a warm welcome to their unique bed and breakfast, tucked away in the heart of Fortuneswell on The Isle of Portland.
Ideally situated, we are just a few minutes from the new facilities at Portland Marina, Portland Harbour, Osprey Quay, Chesil Beach (part of the Jurassic coastline), and The National Sailing Academy, (the Olympic sailing venue for the 2012 games).
We offer a perfect setting for business and pleasure on Portland and in West Dorset.
All our bedrooms have recently been refurbished to a high standard and are of Victorian or contemporary style to sit comfortably with, and work sympathetically with this grand old Portland stone residence.
All rooms have en-suite facilities with HD Ready DVD TV's. If you just can't tear yourself away from the office, Wi-Fi is also available for use through out the house, just ask Mark or Jo for the password on arrival.
In our spacious and airy first floor dining area we serve a choice of traditional "English Breakfast" with fruit juices, cereals and yoghurts. If you have any special dietary requirements, make these known to us before your arrival and we will do our best to please.
Throughout your stay the dining area with its adjoining lounge is always available for the exclusive use of our guests. So kick your shoes off and relax in comfortable surroundings, grab a book to read, or if you like, there is a large HDTV with a good selection of Blue Ray and DVD's to watch, board games to play, or local guidebooks to help you plan your next days excursion.

Directions
By Car:
Leave Weymouth on the A354 heading towards Portland cross the causeway at Ferry Bridge onto Portland. Continue up hill via a sharp right hand bend into Fortuneswell, yes the road and the place are called the same. We are situated a few hundred yards on the right hand side just past the Co-op,the golden door next door to the Post Office.
Parking:
Parking is available at the local car park in Hambro Road, a couple of minutes walk from the front door, its free and you can park for a maximum of 72 hours without moving.
By Train and/or Bus:
There are regular train services to Weymouth from London Waterloo, Bristol and Southampton.
From Weymouth there is an excellent bus service to Portland every 8-10 minutes during the day and the bus stop is just across the road from our B&B.
Take No1, from the bus depot, ask at the station to direct you across the road.
