Liz and Andrew invite you to experience traditional Highland hospitality within their architect-designed guesthouse, set amongst the breathtaking scenery of The Great Glen.
Situated 5 miles north of Spean Bridge and midway between Ben Nevis and Loch Ness on the site of a former railway 'halt'; The Heathers enjoys a natural hillside setting, providing magnificent views over Loch Lochy.
With four generous en-suite bedrooms - two doubles and a twin on the first floor and a ground floor single room, designed, if required, to meet the needs of guests with mobility issues.
Spacious public rooms, tastefully decorated and featuring handcrafted period oak furniture, The Heathers provides that welcome touch of luxury and attention to detail, rightly expected of a 4 star guesthouse.
Equally so, The Heathers' breakfast menu provides a varied choice of foods featuring fine local Highland produce, award-winning Inverawe smoked salmon and a wide selection of prepared fresh fruits, to ensure a mouth watering and satisfying start to each day.
Externally, The Heathers sits centre stage in 3 acres of naturally landscaped private grounds, with ample parking facilities.
Adjacent are decking and patio areas, facing towards Loch Lochy and bedecked with home grown flowers, during the summer months, provides ideal facilities for relaxing during the late afternoons and warm sunny evenings, before going out to dine in one of a number of good local restaurants and hotels.
Coupled with Liz and Andrew's philosophy, of providing for others what they would hope to receive themselves, guests can be assured of a wonderful stay, in a central location ideally suited as a base for touring the Highlands and Islands.
Or simply chilling out and enjoying the local area, famed for its outdoor activities including walking, climbing, cycling, skiing, canoeing and white water rafting (to name but a few), wildlife and both natural and historical places of interest.
