Rose Cottage is a modern Bed and Breakfast in the village of Fort Augustus.
We are a short walk from a variety of forest trails, the shores of Loch Ness, the Caledonian Canal, shops and places to eat.
The Great Glen Way even passes our door.
We offer our guests a warm welcome to Rose Cottage.
Our rooms are all en-suite and of a generous size.
They are situated on the first floor offering views of the Great Glen.
Each room has a hospitality tray, TV/DVD, hair dryer, information folder and sitting area.
We have a lounge for our guests to use either to relax in or plan the following days activities.
We have a large selection of local information and books to assist with this.
In the cooler months we are sure our guests will appreciate the welcoming open fire.
In the warmer months relax outside on the garden furniture and see what wildlife is close by.
Our breakfast menu caters for a range of tastes and is served in the comfort of the Sun Room the local birds provide welcome entertainment.

Directions
Travelling by road from the south.
Travel from Fort William along the A82 towards Inverness.
As you reach Fort Augustus drive through the village over the canal and river and on your left you will see a petrol station and a large car park.
Take the next left after this, Bunoich Brae.
Follow the road up the hill to the small car park.
At which point you should be able to see Rose Cottage to your right. Opposite the turning to Jenkins Park.
Travelling by road from the north.
Travel from Inverness along the A82 towards Fort William.
Just after you pass the Inchnacardoch Hotel (just before Fort Augustus)take the next right on the corner.
Follow the road along and just after the road bends to the left you should be able to see Rose Cottage on your left opposite the turning to Jenkins Park.
