On arrival at Wooden Cabbbage our guests are always impressed by our glorious location.
Quietly situated down our long drive, with no other sound than nature, and plenty of space for safe parking.
The house is beautifully furnished, and offers three en-suite guest bedrooms, with very comfortable beds and crisp white linen.
Martyn and Susie, your hosts, thoroughly enjoy entertaining and give you a warm welcome from the moment you arrive.
Martyn cooks an excellent breakfast, and dinner at Wooden Cabbage is a popular choice.
Relax in the garden room after a long day, or in front of a log fire in the winter.
There is a selection of good pubs and restaurants in the area.
There are lovely walks from the door of the house, or the coastal paths from Abbotsbury to Lyme Regis are just ten miles.
There are also lovely gardens to visit, local market towns and National Trust Houses.

Pet Facilities: Pets are allowed. Dogs are allowed to stay in the boot of their owner's car, parked in the open garage. (Not in the house). Plenty of fields for walking beside the house.
Special Diets Provision: Special diets are catered for. All our food is home-cooked and prepared daily, and therefore al diets may be catered for. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten or dairy free.
Smoking Facilities: Smoking is not allowed. Smoking outside is acceptable

Three miles South of Yeovil on A37, turn west to Closworth.
Continue on this road for two and a half miles, past turn to Halstock; 200 yards on right, go over cattle grid and down private drive.
