Long Mountain Bed & Breakfast is about 2 miles east of Welshpool on the lower slopes of Long Mountain.
Welshpool nestles into the upper reaches of the picturesque Severn Valley, near the border between Wales and England.
The bustling Market Town is surrounded by the rolling hills of Montgomeryshire and the glorious unspoilt countryside in Mid Wales.
We have three en-suite bedrooms furnished to high standards of comfort. All of our marble bathrooms have quality fittings.
Two of the bedrooms have comfortable super-king beds, which can be changed to twin rooms if required. Our deluxe bedroom has a king-size bed and full bath with shower over.
There is a large guest sitting-dining room, which has wonderful views over the Breidden hills and Long Mountain.
Traditionally an agricultural service centre, Welshpool possesses the largest sheep market in Europe and the feeling of a traditional hard working market town still remains today.
The Town is an ideal central base from which to explore the surrounding countryside and offers the opportunity to witness the historical significance and the many attractions of the borderlands.
The Welsh Marches are steeped in history and all along the border, castles and fortifications stand imposingly overlooking the surroundings..
