Shepherds Croft is a delightful, sandstone barn conversion set in quiet village in the Eden Valley. We're 6 miles from the M6 and 1 mile from the A66. As such, we make a great centre for touring the Lake District, North Pennines, Hadrian's Wall etc.
There is a Pub nearby in the village and there are several good places to eat locally.
The Eden Valley is a beautiful, but little known, part of Britain. It has many interesting villages and places to explore. The Market Towns of Penrith, Appleby and Kirby Stephen are all a short drive away.
Walkers and cyclists are welcome - we have facilities for storage of, and dealing with, wet gear.
