With stunning coastal views along the Urr Estuary, Rosemount has an enviable location on the shore front of Kippford, a quaint little sailing village tucked away on the Solway Coast in Dumfries and Galloway.
Aiming high to provide guests with a relaxed retreat away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life, Rosemount offers four guest bedrooms with double, twin or family occupancy.
All rooms are furnished to a high standard with most enjoying views across the estuary.
Enjoy one of our delicious breakfasts, cooked healthily and using the freshest, local produce and fairtrade products.
Served in our spacious, bright and airy breakfast room we ensure our guests receive a tasty treat and great start to the day.
The west facing conservatory and verandah at the front of the house provides guests with one of the best locations in the village for relaxing and enjoying the unspoilt views.
Complimentary refreshments are served in the conservatory and it is a great place to meet and chat to other guests, read a book or take in a glass of your own wine or a favourite tipple whilst watching the array of wildlife.
Wildlife includes red squirrels, herons, oyster catchers and curlews feeding on the tidal shores of the estuary along with the many stunning sunsets which occur throughout the seasons.
The village of Kippford has two popular pubs, both serving food daily, a small gift shop, the Solway yacht club and boat yard and a village hall where events and exhibitions are held.
The village has a no-through road and benefits from limited traffic which contributes to the peaceful ambiance of the village.
